Destination: Delhi - Nainital - Kausani - Delhi

Tour Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrive in Delhi | Drive from Delhi to Nainital (300 km/approx. 8 hours)
Upon arrival at the Delhi airport or railway station, meet a Yatra representative, who will help you to get transferred to Nainital – a beautiful hill station in the state of Uttarakhand. Home to several picturesque lakes, lofty mountain ranges and scenic environs, this town is one of the famous tourist destinations of the country. It witnesses a surge of tourists all across the year from different parts of the world. This town is located in the district of Nainital, which is also home to the famous Jim Corbett National Park, the first national park in mainland Asia.
After reaching Nainital, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel and relax for some time. Thereafter, spend the rest of the day in wishful activities or explore the breathtaking environs of Naini Lake by indulging in a boat ride (Charges applicable) on it. In addition, shop at the Mall Road or the Tibetan Market, which are located alongside Naini Lake. Also, a visit to the Naina Devi Temple situated on the bank of Naini Lake for a spiritual experience. When in Nainital, make sure to purchase scented candles, available in different shapes and sizes.
After this enriching leisure time, retire to the hotel and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Nainital
Next morning, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Nainital to admire its natural beauty and scenic locations.
Start the tour with a visit to Hanuman Garhi that boasts of spectacular surroundings. This shrine is devoted to Lord Hanuman and houses a huge statue of the deity that looks simply magnificent. With soaring mountains as its backdrop, the temple witness a surge of a lot of devotees and tourists, who come here to find peace and tranquillity. This religious place, located at an altitude of about 1951 m, is famous for offering splendid views of sunset.
Afterwards, embrace the scenic beauty of Nainital by touring its beautiful lakes - Bhimtal, Naukuchiatal and Sattal. These lakes offer ample scope to feel close to nature and behold spectacular views while boat cruising on them. These lakes are located in proximity to each other and are among the prominent attractions of this destination. After an entire day spent in sightseeing and admiring the beauty of lakes, get back to the hotel to sleep off the fatigue.

Day 03: Drive from Nainital to Kausani (120 km/approx. 5 hours)
The next day, drive from Nainital to Kausani – another enchanting destination of Uttarakhand that is famous for its verdant tea plantations, scenic mountains and deep pine forests. Owing to its breathtaking beauty, thousands of tourists visit this hill station round the year. This hill town is situated in the Bageshwar district of Uttarakhand.
While driving towards Kausani, stop en route to visit Chaubatia Gardens and Kalika Temple – the two prominent attractions of Ranikhet. Chaubatia Gardens is famous for its apple orchards and plantations of peaches, apricots and almonds. Its lush greenery and scenic environs enthrals its visitors. The Kalika Temple is a holy shrine that is devoted to Goddess Kali. Being a popular Hindu temple, it attracts a lot of devotees as well as tourists.
Upon arrival in Kausani, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel and take rest. Thereafter, spend the rest of the day in leisure activities. In the evening, return to the hotel and get a good night's sleep.

Day 04: Sightseeing in Kausani
Next morning, leave the hotel to set out on a half-day sightseeing tour of Kausani. First explore the majestic Baijnath Temple that was established around the 13th century and is about 19 km away from Kausani. Be amazed by the architectural grandeur of this shrine, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. There is an idol of Lord Shiva inside this temple, which is situated on the bank of Gomti River. Epitomising age-old charm, this temple depicts the excellent artisanship of the bygone era. This shrine is a prominent religious shrine in this region as devotees throng here in numbers throughout the year.
Thereafter, visit the famous Kausani tea plantations to witness lush greenery and picturesque environs. The scented aroma of tea leaves lingering in the air will tickle your senses and make you feel rejuvenated. It is estimated that there is over 208 hectares of tea plantations in this region, besides peach orchards. A stroll through these plantations can be a refreshing experience, especially for nature lovers. In addition, a visit to the nearby tea factories to learn a bit about tea manufacturing and exports can be a fruitful jaunt. After spending a memorable time in this hill station, return to the hotel and enjoy a good night's sleep.

Day 05: Drive from Kausani to Delhi (391 km/approx. 8 hours)
Following morning, check-out from the hotel in Kausani and then, proceed to the Delhi airport or railway station to board your return flight/train.
