Destination: Delhi - Nainital - Mussoorie - Delhi
Tour Itinerary:
Day 01: Drive from Delhi to Nainital (300 km/approx. 8 hours)
Upon arrival at the Delhi airport/railway station, meet a Yatra representative who will assist you to board the designated vehicle. Thereafter, embark on a road journey to Nainital.
One of most-visited hill stations of India, Nainital is located around Naini Lake. Surrounded by lush green mountains, this destination is situated at an altitude of 1938 m above sea level. This beautiful town is abode to several lakes, which are donned with rows of colourful yachts that have now become synonymous with this picture-postcard resort. Moreover, every year, a national level yachting competition is also organised here.
Check-in at the hotel after reaching Nainital and spend the remaining day at your leisure. You may visit the local attractions or enjoy a boat ride on Naini Lake (Charges applicable).
Get back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Nainital
This day is reserved for a sightseeing tour of Nainital. Start by visiting the religious and spiritual centre of Hanuman Garhi. The temple is dedicated to the Hindu deities, Lord Hanuman, Ram and Shiva. It is also known for offering a lovely sunset view.
Next, proceed for an interesting jaunt of three beautiful lakes – Bhimtal, Naukuchiatal and Sattal, which are located close to each other. These lakes are popular for their scenic and peaceful surroundings. You can also cherish a boat ride on these lakes.
Thereafter, return to the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 03: Drive from Nainital to Mussoorie (350 km/approx. 8 hours)
The day starts with a road journey to Mussoorie, which is a popular hill station in Uttarakhand. Nestled at the foothills of the Garhwal Himalayan ranges, the destination is popular as the 'Queen of Hills'. Its undulating mountains, pleasant climate and lush greenery attract a huge influx of tourists throughout the year.
Once you reach Mussoorie, check-in at the hotel and spend the night away in your room.
Day 04: Sightseeing in Mussoorie
In the morning, go on a half-day excursion to Dhanaulti, a small hill station.
Located between Mussoorie and Chamba, Dhanaulti is gradually emerging as a popular weekend getaway. Its quiet and quaint charm is attracting people who want to spend some time far away from the crowd of other popular hill stations.
Later, come back to Mussoorie and visit its popular attractions like the Mall Road, which has a quaint British charm. The Gun Hill Point is another well- known attraction of Mussoorie. Being the second highest peak of this hill station, it gives a panoramic view of the town. The tour of the town remains incomplete without exploring the Kempty Falls, a popular picnic spot.
Thereafter, spend the evening in leisure activities, before retiring to the hotel room for an overnight stay.
Day 05: Drive from Mussoorie to Delhi (270 km/approx. 6 hours)
Check-out from the hotel and drive to Delhi airport/railway station for your return journey.
