Tour Itinerary:

Once you arrive at the Delhi airport/railway station, you will be driven to Corbett.
Named after the famous hunter, author and conservationist Jim Corbett, the Jim Corbett National Park was declared as a national park in the year 1936, making it the first of its kind in mainland Asia. Situated at an elevation ranging from 385 m to 1100 m above sea level, this wildlife reserve lies in two districts of Uttarakhand – Pauri and Nainital.
Encompassing an area of about 521 sq km, this national park along with reserve forest areas and Sonanadi Wildlife Sanctuary forms the Corbett Tiger Reserve. Known to be the richest bird habitat of the country with 600 avifauna species, this park is also home to rare and endangered animal species, especially Asiatic elephant and Bengal tiger. This national park has been divided into five tourist zones, namely Domunda, Sonanadi, Dhikala, Bijrani and Jhirna.
On reaching Corbett, complete the check-in formalities at the designated accommodation and rest for a while. Thereafter, spend the rest of the day at leisure by going to the watchtowers (at Phulai, Jhirna and Dhikala) to get a panoramic view of the park and witness wildlife. Alternatively, visitors camping at Bijrani and Dhikala can enjoy screening of wildlife films over here.
Later, return to the accommodation facility and stay overnight.

An elephant safari will give an opportunity to witness wild animals up close in their natural habitat, while you explore the forest passing deep valleys, rugged tracks and rainwater drains. In a Jeep safari, you can cover a large area of Corbett in a short span of time, and it will be give you a better chance to take pictures of wild animals you come across.
After the safari tour, come back to the accommodation unit and get ready to check-out. Later, drive from Corbett to Ranikhet. Located at an altitude of about 1829 m above sea level, Ranikhet is a picturesque hill station in the Almora district of Uttarakhand. Thereafter, it served as a summer retreat for the British.
On arrival in Ranikhet, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel and rest for a while.
