TOUR ITINERARY :
Day 01 : Cochin
Pick up from Cochin Airport, and drive to the hotel. City tour of Cochin, Sightseeing covering Jew Town, Jewish Synagogue, Chinese fishing nets, Bolgatty Palace, St. Francis Church, Mattancherry Palace & Day at leisure. Optional activity- Cochin Harbor sightseeing cruise (Cochin has one of the finest natural harbors in the world. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 : Munnar
After breakfast drive to Munnar. Munnar is at the height of 4420 feet above sea level and is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams. Munnar offers spectacular views of the craggy peaks, manicured tea plantations, picturesque towns and winding lanes. On arrival check into hotel, after lunch Half Day sightseeing covering Echo Point famous for its Echo Phenomenon, Mattupetty Lake & Dam, Evening free at leisure. Dinner. Stay overnight.
Day 03 : Munnar
After breakfast Eravikulam National Park, the home of Nilgiri Thar. Anamudi peak which is at an altitude of 2695 m above sea level is situated in the southern region of this park. After lunch free for optional entertainments. Rest of the day at leisure, overnight at hotel.
Day 04 : Thekkadi (Periyar)
After breakfast drive to Thekkady. Attractions are : Boat Safari in the Periyar Wild Life Sanctuary one of the most fascinating Wild Life Reserves in India. The greatest attraction of Periyar is the large herds of wild elephants that come down to the lakes edge to drive away their thirst. Boating in the Periyar Lake watching the animals. Evening, visit the Spice Market where you can pick up some fragrant spices or handcrafted jewelers. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05 : Alleppey (Houseboat)
After breakfast drive to Alleppey. Alleppey is known as the Venice of the East has a largest network of Canals and is a centre for backwater cruises in Kerala. On arrival check in to Houseboat. Cruise around backwater villages of Alleppey. You can cruise through small narrow canals, lakes & lagoons see traditional fishing, farming below sea level etc., which will help you to catch a brief memorable picture of Kerala backwaters. Overnight in Houseboat.
Day 06 : Backwater Resort
After breakfast, check out from the houseboat, and then transfer you to a beautiful Backwater Resort (35 Minutes Drive). On arrival check in to the Resort. Afternoon you can do boating, fishing and sunset cruise in the evening. Overnight stay in the resort.
Day 07 : Kovalam
After breakfast transfer to Kovalam beach (180 kms, 3.5 hrs) and check into the hotel, After noon relax and enjoy the beauty of beach. Overnight stay at Kovalam
Day 08 :Kovalam
Full day in leisure at KOVALAM. Overnight stay in the resort.
Day 09 : Kanyakumari
Kanyakumari Beach has spectacular stretches of sands and the amazing sunrise and sunset views are the reasons enough to draw tourists. The famous Vivekananda Rock Memorial, which protrudes into the ocean is one of the most visited attractions. Another famous monument is the Gandhi Memorial, built over the spot where the urn containing the ashes of Mahatma Gandhi was kept for public viewing before immersing them in the waters. The Kanyakumari Temple, located on the shore is dedicated to Goddess Parvati. Padamanabhapuram is 45 Km from the town and is known for its fort which encloses a beautiful palace and a temple. The Government Museum has a good collection of old coins, tribal artefacts, bronze sculptures and wooden carvings. Over night stay at Kanyakumari.
Day 10 : Departure Trivandrum
After the break fast it‘s the time to depart to your onward destination, with heart filling memories. Drop at Trivandrum Airport/Railway Station.
