The Maharajas Express

Voted as the best luxury train tour in the world for 2012 & 2013,the Maharajas Express offers you to travel on Three Different Journeys of 7 Nights Duration each & Two Journey of 3 Nights Duration.
You have option to book Deluxe Cabins & Different Suite Categories. This ultra luxury train operates from October to April annually & there is no service from May till September. Some unique experiences include Champagne Breakfast overlooking The Taj Mahal & an exhibition Elephant Polo Match in Jaipur, in which you can also participate. The train is operated by commercial wing of Indian Railways, but both onboard & off board services have been outsourced to private companies.

Facilities On Board
The Maharaja Express has Five Passenger Saloons of 4 Deluxe Cabins each; Six Saloons of three Junior Suites each; Two saloons of two Suites each & One Saloon for Grand Presidential Suite, all with ensuite bathrooms For meeting the journey comforts, all passenger cabins come with individual temperature controls, LCD televisions, DVD players, direct dial telephone & internet, to name a few. With in-house movies and live television keeping you company when you come back from the tiring journey it is truly a royal experience with us. Just a small reminder for those passengers who are using a different power supply, the Maharajas' Express is equipped with 110/230V sockets. Other than this, every cabin also has its own electronic safe deposit box.

All the cabins & public areas have large panoramic windows & the train is just so designed to savor every bit of the journey called India.

The Maharajas' Express has two fine dining restaurants. With a seating capacity of 42 persons at a time it allows opportunity for everyone on board to dine together. Here, the wines and beer served whilst dining come complimentary, of course.

For those who love to ride with the spirits, we have with us exotic Safari bar that features choicest collection of wines, beer and other spirits with snacks that come complimentary to every passenger. Further, we also have a lounge cum bar named 'Raja Club' that has comfortable seating with club arm-chairs. If these features don't exite you, the Maharajas' Express also has high-end boutique that feature exquisite and unique creations.

SIGHTSEEING TOUR Transport
Right from super deluxe coaches for Deluxe Cabin & Junior Suite passengers, to cars for Suite and Presidential Suite passengers, we ensure a comfortable journey experience is provided to all. All vehicles used for traveling is equipped with complimentary sightseeing kits like bottle coolers, pith hats and shoe uppers.
